Now that we finally know what Nintendo’s next console will look like — in case you missed it, it’s a portable handheld-hybrid called the Switch — there’s another burning question on our mind: will anyone support it?
According to Nintendo, the answer is a firm ‘yes,’ with the console maker naming a 48-strong line-up of industry giants who’ve already agreed to work with its versatile new console.
While the current roster is only a “sampling” of Nintendo Switch partners, it includes heavyweight developers and publishers such as Activision, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Epic Games, Take Two, From Software, and EA.
Nintendo has also secured the backing of various tech companies and solutions, including big-names such as Unity, Criware, AutoDesk, Havok, Rad, Fmod, and Wwise.
There’s no word yet on what Nintendo’s new Switch partners are working on, although the Japanese giant has promised more information nearer the console’s March launch date.
